Christian brothers is my all time favorite car repair shop. They treat you well, don't recommend what you don't need and if you're a regular customer they do things like check tire pressure and fill them up for free. Excellent service!

Since my car is modified, I understand having to re-route wires, but some items were re-routed near hot things and others were left unsecured. I also suspect the oil pressure sender was damaged in disassembly, but since that's not an expensive part and they were already having extreme issues with their parts supplier getting correct parts, I decided not to pursue it. One thing I am disappointed in is the timing was not set correctly and was at 5 degrees when it should be at least 10 degrees as the engine would die when put in gear when warmed up. It looks like they went by the truck data instead of the fullsize car data (or the data was wrong). I've also heard that data for pre-OBDII data is very spotty and unreliable from other mechanic friends of mine. Parts suppliers also have this problem and often confuse truck and mustang parts for full size parts. This is very annoying, but almost expected at this point which is why I almost never take my car in because nobody knows how to work on these any more unless they're much older than the typical mechanic. The work done was still quality and will not keep me from going back, but I may provide complete part number manifests and known good suppliers when I do from now on.
Since I was always extremely satisfied with my last vehicle service when I got a newer vehicle instead of having the dealer perform any work on my car I take to back to MY Christian Brothers center for big and small issues. What I like best is even with just an oil change, they let me know if something is going to need repairs in the near or distant future. It's very comforting to know that in a few months I may need brakes or filters or something major performed so it doesn't come as a shock. My CBA team helps me plan for minor and major service items that will be needing attention and never pressure to do them NOW! The required services don't come as a surprise (unless it's something unusual) but for regular PM they kept my Bonneville running smoothly and I know they will treat my G8 with the same care but most importantly they will treat me with the same care I've become accustomed to. It's appreciated more than I think they realize! KUDOS to MY CBA center. They're the best in my book! (If you have an issue with service performed it's treated with TOP PRIORITY and resolved immediately.
Parking at this Christian Brothers is a challenge. Prices are equivalent to some dealerships. You can trust the service they provide.

I want to believe that the mechanics are honest with me, but I am at their mercy whenever I take my car in for repairs. I had already spent $1000 for the 60,000 mile maintenance then had to buy 4 brand new tires before bringing my car BACK for alignment. So another $500. Then they said I needed 2 more things done and that would be another $800. I do not have that kind of money to throw out at every visit. You have drained my resources.
I can only hope I have been treated fairly.

I have not hesitated to take my van in to Christian Brothers for repair. Recently my air conditioning,defrost fan was not working so I brought the van in to have it evaluated. I was told it could cost up to $800 to repair.

I brought my car in to have they oil changed and they told me that the radiator was leaking again (I am a regular customer and this was an issue that had already been addressed twice in a short time). Because it was still in warranty, they repaired it free. I want to say that I really trust these men at this location because they earnestly give you a true diagnosis and nothing more. Trust is HUGE when it comes to repair costs. And I am a woman who drives a sports car--which could really run up the $$ if they were to be disingenuous. Soo appreciate their honestly and they do very good work! If they don't get it right, they fix it!

They have always done very good work and stood by it if there was a problem later. On the other hand, I recently brought a vehicle in and was told that it needed two parts replaced, both parts plus labor ran to over $400. I didn't have that kind of money so I did some research online and discovered that it probably only needed one of those parts so I ordered the part (after market) online and spent an hour upside under the dashboard replacing the part. It was a royal pain but I effected the repair on my own for about $40 and saved myself almost $370. I think that they do very good work but I feel like they try to maximize the cost (and profit for themselves). It would be nice to have several price options mentioned (e.g., "We can replace the problem part with one hour of labor but you might have a problem with the other part down the road, we can replace both parts as is recommended but that will require two hours of labor, etc, etc, etc.) For those of us who are really tight on money this would make a big difference.
