We brought our vehicle in for maintenance and they ruined transmission and tried to give us a one year warranty rebuilt. Three weeks later got it back. We have 4 cars and they never find the problem we bring it for.

I rented a car for three days thinking that the repairs on my vehicle would take that long. Christian Brothers had my vehicle repaired in about a day and under estimated cost. I used Repair Pal to get some price estimates of what the repair work would cost. I actually had multiple things done and where different repairs overlapped in work Christian Brothers did not double charge me for labor.
Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Shop was neat and clean. I would love to come back, however the price was too high on some of the maintenance work.

I brought my car in to be fixed and left it there from 1:00 to closing time, and they didn't even have time to diagnose it or look at it. On top of that, I had to pick up my car after closing hours because I don't get off of work until 6:30, and I had asked them to leave my car keys in the glovebox with the car unlocked so I could get it when I was done at my job. I went to open my car and it was locked. Luckily there were two mechanics still there at 6:45 and were able to jimmy the door open and unlock my car. The people who work here are incredibly nice, but the service is awful. The first time I ever went there, I told them about my power steering pump leaking. They still charged me $90 to diagnose my car for other possible problems, and ended up keeping my car for two days to fix everything. I get a call a week later telling me that they forgot to install the new power steering pump (which was the whole point of me bringing it there in the first place) and I had to bring it in for another day just so they could finish their job. 9/10 would not recommend.

They are polite to customers, and the environment is clean and comfortable. That comfort is important, however, because it took an hour and a quarter to get my oil changed, and I had an appointment. I asked them to check two things, and the one that required parts they were quick to do. Checking the air in my tires, however, was overlooked, and I had to go elsewhere to maintain my safety.
I really do want to like this shop, but this is the third time we've taken our cars there and been disappointed. They cannot change the oil in less than an hour. This we know. In addition, when seeking a repair, they likened the cost to buying an airline ticket--which was both inappropriate and an inept hard sell tactic. I just can't be loyal to a place like that.
I have always been pleased with the service. However, since my last repair, my car has been making a strange sound. I am returning tomorrow to have it checked out.

I become suspicious when diagnostics point to one problem that temporarily solved the problem. Repeat visit adds another added remedy at a great expense. So was the first repair necessary? One wonders. But one bites the bullet and authorizes the repairs. So far so good. Mechanic was straight forward and apologetic for overlooking the second repair.

Everyone I encountered there was very helpful.
I had a few issues. I brought my car in after I hit a very large pothole and it overheated. I was told that I blew a head gasket due to it over heating. I brought it in on a Monday and it was estimated to be ready by Friday. When dropping it off, the customer rep at the front desk stated to me "if you'd like we'll go ahead and change its oil if you want, since we'll already be under there." I said sure. Based on the way he phrased it, I inferred that the oil change was for free. The repair job was costing me $3700 as it was. Anyway, on Friday, after not having heard anything all week and it being the day it was supposed to be ready, I called and was informed that a delay in the shipping of one of the parts would cause it to not be ready until Monday. Ok, things happen. Monday comes along and they call and tell me they just discovered why the Car overheated in the first place which caused it to blow a head gasket -- the fan assembly in my radiator broke when I hit the pothole. He then informed me it would take a few more hours and would cost another $400 to fix. Of course I had to fix it, but it left me wondering if they were really about to give me back my vehicle without first fixing the source of the problem, only to then have it overheat and potentially blow another head gasket?!
So, immediately after getting my car back, I notice my back up camera is not working correctly.. it flickers and the image is reversed. This happens immediately after all the work they just did to it. So I brought it back and left it for a day so they could see if any wires were loose. When picking it up, I was told that not only could they not find any loose wires, but they couldn't get the camera to act up and it looked normal to them... which was funny because I couldn't get it to act RIGHT.. So I go and get in my vehicle to leave, put it in reverse, and the first thing I see is my camera flickering with the image reversed. This frustrated me like no other. It made me wonder if they even looked at it at all. How could they claim they couldn't even get it to do it once when it does it all the time. Anyway, so I'll bring my car to the dealer from now on.

Christian Brothers Automotive strategic plan to capture and retain customers is above the industry normal. I like getting service reminders, coupons and recommended service check notices. However the service onsite could be better. It appears the techs are not thorough with their auto inspection process. Recommendation are made based on the mileage of your car verse actual inspecting the item for repair or replacement. The speed to service is below average with oil changes and providing service recommendations. The front staff has been professional and courteous. I also like having the courtesy ride option when needed.

Christian Brothers performed the work expected at a fair price with professionalism. They communicated accurately and charged for work done that had a known benefit. They also did not add on additional costs or services that were not required.

First visit the gentleman at the front desk had no knowledge about the inspection/registration process, so I paid for an inspection that never happened and was not needed. Second visit was for an oil change and to have the battery installed in my SUV by Christian Brothers checked out for the battery light was coming on in my SUV often. Did not realize until checking out that there was a HEFTY fee for checking the battery they installed. I did not feel that it was fair to pay roughly $50 to have a battery installed by Christian Brothers checked out.
The folks at Christian Brothers have always been very nice and understanding to my car needs. The shop manager and I got to be on a first name basis from being there so often. However, the reason I was there so often was partially their fault.

I had a engine replaced in my 2008 GMC Sierra 4dr truck. My labor bill was over $3.000 dollars it took 10 days I have a noise coming from the engine where the pulleys are at start up, my cover for my center console was broke that holds my sunglasses the engine compartment was left dirty they did not bother to clean anything when i picked it up not happy the shop manager seemed to not be bothered by these things my total bill was over $ 7,000.

Price wasn't terrible, but they did add in the BS shop fee that was about $4 extra added to my bill. Also, as all of these oil change places do, they offered me the air filter at supposedly no more than I could buy it anywhere else, except that they offered it to me for about $24 with the tax added in. I purchased an OEM air filter on eBay for less than $6.
They are courteous and drove me to my job.
