Chevrolet Aveo QuestionsWhere is the fuel filter located (on a 2010 LT Hatchback specifically) (1 answer)
There seems to be different answers to this question depending on the model. Models before 2007 supposedly only have a fuel filter located inside of the fuel pump. Supposedly the 2010 has it outside, but I can't seem to spot it on mine.
This occurred after having my radiator hoses replaced. Not sure if related. Also occurred after filling up gas tank. Please help.
When I pick up speed past 60 mph check engine light flashes off and on. When it does that it don't want to shift right like its suppost to.
Chevrolet Aveo RecallsAnti-Lock Brake System Malfunction
The anti-lock brake system (ABS) module may experience corrosion to its internal valves, causing the valves to stick. Sticking valves will reduce braking performance. Dealers will replace the ABS module free of charge to resolve the problem.
The daytime running light module may overheat and melt, resulting in the potential of vehicle fire. Dealers will repair vehicles free of charge (a repair is not available as of the time of this writing).
In a frontal crash test, it was discovered that the fuel line in the engine compartment could crack and short circuits in the fuse box were discovered that would make the fuel pump continue to run. If this happens and fuel leaks onto the ground, a vehicle fire could occur. Dealers will replace the fuse block and install a new section of fuel line that has been redesigned. The recall began November 16, 2006. The recall number is 06133.
