This happen now a couple times, and always I bring the car to a garage and they fix it. They change out the sensor then the change out a vaccum hose they do a oil change, but now again the light is on. What else can this been.

I recently did an oil change to my truck and they put in 10W30 in rather then the Castrol HighMileage I asked for. The TRUCK has 330K miles but the guy I bought it from in Oct 2010 said he had a Jasper motor put in it not to long ago. Well after the oil change I noticed the truck wasn't starting right away and I looked down a couple times and my oil pressure gauge was hitting zero and check gauge comes on then it would wave between 40 and 20. I was told this might be cause it spun a bearing. I have no clue what this means, what it entails or what it'll cost or how long. Can anyone help me out with some info so I know how much I'm looking at in repairs.

where is the sensor located and what is the best method for removal and installation of new sensor

I recently took a 1997 Suburban in to the dealership service shop to get the front brake pads and rotors replaced. After the Brake job was done, the brakes started to act up. The brake pedal would depress and the abs would kick in while making stops from slow speeds. This wouldn't happen all the time but at least once everytime I drove. If the abs wheel speed sensor was damaged during the brake job, how would this happen and how can I get this concern addressed at the dealership. I have taken the car in since and the explanation given to me was that the part was rusted and that taking the sensor out to get cleaned could cause it to break.

my suburban is having problems with the braking system. recently only the front bakes are operating on my vehicle. Subsequently I took them to a repair shop to bleed all lines and had the master cylinder replaced and the rear drums adjusted. I thought this would take care of the problem but it did not. Can anyone help.

My truck is an automatic with a 4L60E tranny, it slipped out of gear today and will not move now. A couple months ago it had started making a tapping and grinding type sound. That sound had stopped a couple weeks ago. The truck was running smooth and today, it quit. What should I check first?
