2003 Cadillac Seville SLS Q&A

2003 Cadillac Seville SLS Question: check stability control message.

Today at 70,000 miles I got a check stability control message. What dose that mean? -
Answer 1
The stability control system in your 2003 Cadillac Seville SLS helps the vehicle maintain directional control. When the message is displayed fault code(s) will be stored in the anti-lock brake system control module which is the brain behind the stability system. Fault codes should be retrieved, diagnosed and repaired. A common failure of this system is the steering wheel position sensor. -

Thanks for the replay. I was driving on ice that day, and maybe the censer was as confused as I was. The message has never come on again. -
