check oil light on 2004 Hyundai Accent

the check oil light came on for my car. oil was low so I added oil. light did not go off. car does not smell as if oil is burning nor is there oil under the car when parked.

Check the oil pressure. With other lights on like the battery, brake, abs, and speedo inop it is possible the alternator in not charging. Check the oil pressure first and lisson for any engine noise.
