No get a scantool check the car for trouble codes go to autozone they do this for free.

It's unlikely, but it's also not relevant until you have the codes read out, and if they see if there is a possible relation between the light and the fuel. You can go to a parts store to have the codes read out, bu they are not technicians and DO NOT take any of their advice on what to replace, they are selling parts, not a diagnosis. If you get the codes, look in our Encyclopedia under "Exhaust and Emissions" and you will find information for many of the most common codes, and if you don't see the one you have, post the code here and someone can help you. I get code P0440 what does it mean and how do I fix it? Light is on and never goes off. When reset it comes back on
