The light came on only after I had removed a fuse (15 amp engine #41) to check another component. Put the fuse back and started the car. Now the light stays on. Took for a test drive, wouldn't shift correctly, stayed in 3rd. It's intermittant, and now it's fine. Shifted fine all day. Please help.

Masterdont assume anything needs to be replaced till it is confirmed. you need to have someone go through the system and make sure all wiring and components are in good shape. dont throw anything at it till you know the issue
