Question: Check engine light wont allow vehicle to pass emission test

 Rookie

Throttle control replaced 3rd gear ratio not shifting test also reveal pcv and pcv hose maybe issue all of this was told to Md but not sure who is telling me the correct answer please help

    WWW.NCDOT.GOV.......CLICK ON 'DMV'.........SCROLL DOWN AND CLICK ON 'VEHICLE EMISSIONS AND SAFETY INSPECTIONS' DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THAT PAGE IT HAS A SECTION TITLED 'FAILURE TO PASS INSECTION' CLICK ON THE LINK FOR 'NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTE 20-183.5'..........READ IT!!!

    Are you trying to pass a state inspection, I would, as would anyone would, to properly diagnose the problem need much more information. Please keep in mind anyone giving you a estimate or diagnosis without seeing the problem, may just be wasting your time.
