check engine light still on on 2002 Honda CR-V

I replace already the oxygen sensor, how can i remove the or turn off the malfunction indicator lamp. my mechanic told me it has a code error 1167

Your mechanic should follow the correct test procedures for 1167, which means a/f sensor heater circuit malfunctio. There are certain test procedures, but your mechanic should be able to reset it with his/her scan tool. Make sure the connections at the sensor and ecm are ok, if the light turns back on then have a mechanic perform the test procedures. Happy holidays
