No problems since I bought new - now check engine light stays on. Maintained basics, i.e., changed oil, etc. Independent auto shop used diagnostic analysis. Results: Intake Valve Timing P1135 CKT Bank 2. What is this and do I need to take to dealership?

This description a bit confusing. The P1135 is not a VVT code, looks like it's wrongly interpreted. What kind of diagnostic tool did they use? The P1135 is the O2 sensor code. P1135 (Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction, Bank 1, Sensor 1 and not a VVT code. I'd gat an other diagnostic from an other shop to be sure about the problem. There is a huge difference between a few hundred dollar scanner and a $ 10,000+ diagnostic computer. Anyway, there is a TSB out form Lexus to address the P1135 DTC. Looks like you need to replace the Air-Fuel Ratio Sensor at Bank 1-Sensor 1. Here is the TSB: Engine Controls - MIL ON/Multiple DTC's Set ENGINE EG001-02 REVISED Title: M.I.L.
