My check engine light turn on and the code for that was PO740 meaning there is a problem with the torque converter clutch. How much would it cost me to fix that problem roughly? please help out a bmw owner.

There could be a couple of issues that will have to be determined before you can attempt a repair. Either the TCC is bad itself, or there is an issue with the control side (electronic/hydraulic). A qualified technician will have to determine what the root cause is and from there give you an estimate on what needs to be replaced and how much it will cost.

"How much would it cost......" what are you...nuts. You can't ever ask this on a BMW. And if you do....they'll charge you double just so they can all get a laugh at the shop.
