check engine light on on 2007 Chevrolet Impala

i had a diagonstics on my car print states my evap canister needs to be replace not sure how much this will cost one guy told me 450 dollars

id replace the gas cap first, then take it from there..same thing on 2001 cavalier. after new cap,you have to reset the code; just disconnect battery few minutes then reconnect.
