1999 Volkswagen Golf Question: check engine light is on will not pass n.y inspection 99 vw golf 2.0 motor

the code come up says low input to intake air temperature sensor that is built in the mass air flow sensor put 2 different mass air flow sensors on both do the same code comes up

    where are you buying the sensor? needs factory orig if diag properly,could be a circuit issue

    They were both bought new,I will look at the wiring .Thank you
