Question: Check engine light is on and I ran a quick diagnostic test. Code P0420 appears.

The engine light will come and go. Does not stay on permanently.

Any ideas?

    thats telling you your catalytic converer system is below threshold on bank 1. which means you o2 sensor after the cat is not seeing a diff between the one in frt of your cat. have it tested by your mech
