2005 Ford Expedition Question: Check engine light flashing after I replaced #2 coil .Why?

I changed #2 coil because the light was staying on and I went to advance auto to put it on computer . They told me number 2 cylinder misfire so I replaced #2 coil like they recommended . My SUV idles good now however the check engine light started flashing while driving .

    Flashing is bad it implies the catalytic converter is suffering damage.Was the coil bad, could it have a bad spark plug, leaking or otherwise bad fuel injector, vacuum leak or low compression in that cylinder? There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
