Question: check engine light flashing

 Rookie

just replaced alternator and now check engine light is flashing.car is shaking.could this be from improper installation or some thing else.before alternator was replaced car was not turning on even with brand new battery.

    If your Check Engine Light is flashing, that means that you have a severe misfire, so make sure that all of your spark plugs, and all of your vacuum lines and air intake hoses are as they should be.
