service engine soon light illuminated, took it to a mechanic and had the obd 2 read. came back with p0410 code= emission. was told that it will cost 600.00 dollars to fix. googled the problem and found a thread that said to change the gas cap, fill up the gas tank and wait a day or two and light should go off. so i changed the cap, filled up, a day later, bada bing light went out... thanks you google!!
Gas cap is loose and service engine light it on.
This happened more than once...we thought our gas cap was not on properly, or not tight enough. We ended up buying a new one.
