The Check Engine Light may illuminate with a stored code P2006. This is most often caused by a sticking intake manifold runner control (IMRC) valve. Our technicians tell us that depending on your vehicle the valve may require replacement and/or the powertrain control module (PCM) software will require upgrading.

My Check Engine Light has been on for 3 weeks. A mechanic checked it out and said that my vehicle is out of timing and said it needs a R and R Timing Chain Job that would cost me $1543.99. My car seems to be losing power at times. I don't know what to do about this problem. I don't know if I should pay the $1543 to get it repaired and still have the same issue later down the line. Or should I try to trade it in on another new car??
