Model Years Affected: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

Average Mileage: 142,663 mi (112,890 mi - 160,000 mi)

The Check Engine Light may illuminate due to one or more engine vacuum leaks. Our technicians tell us these leaks can be caused by damage to seals and/or vacuum hoses as a result of to much ethanol content in the gasoline. Affected hoses and seals must be replaced to correct this concern.

Car runs fine given her age until you're sitting still. Car idles really low and kind of acts like its going to die. Driving off again it runs fine. Check engine light popped on after a very slow drive thru during a McDonalds charity promotion. The car has never thrown a light warning until this time and I've had the car when it had 22 miles on it. I'll have the shop check this tomorrow. Thank you for this website!

Car Idles between 2500 and 500 rpm upon start up. Engine vibrates or bounces like it is being suffocated. Car does stay running while in park. However when put into gear it stalls repeatedly.
