Check Engine Light due to contamination of grease on gas pedal potentiometer on Isuzu Rodeo Sport

On certain models contamination of the grease on the gas pedal potentiometer causes the Check Engine light (MIL) to come on and may cause a rough idle. The potentiometer will need to be replaced and adjusted to fix this problem.
