2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Question: Check engine light came on. Shop says both oxygen sensors need to be replaced.

The check engine light comes on and goes off on it's own. Shop says both oxygen sensors need replaced. Could it be just a faulty gas cap since it comes and goes? Dealer wants $277.38 to replace both sensors. That seems very reasonable.
