2007 Chevrolet Equinox Q&A
2007 Chevrolet Equinox Question: check engine light and reduce engine power
The other day while driving to work my check engine light turned on, then the stabilitrak light followed by reduce engine power. I was only able to go 15 mph. I had it scanned and the app sensor needed to be changed so i had it fixed. Had no problems for 4 or 5 days. Then it all turned on again. Any ideas or suggestions as to what else to do? The Chevy dealership where I purchased the equinox from has idea what to do to fix it. - D_D
Not sure what you mean by the "app" sensor, but the Dealer should have the resources to address this. Push on them to check all technical service bulletins, recall info and other technical info from Chevrolet. If you post the codes here we may be able to give further assistance. - Bret Bodas
APP= Applied Pedal Pressure for the drive-by-wire throttle body, may be time to complain to your repair shop, sound like they just put parts on and didn't fix anything. Could be the throttle body. - Daves Auto Service
