I have a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ls (90,000miles) and am having the same problem with the check engine light and reduced engine power light since June '10. After $1100. dollars in the hole and replacing the throttle body sensor twice, I found out that there was a bulletin put out in '07 about the computer that reads to the throttle position sensor starting with a certain number (check # on the sticker on the computer) is bad. GM redesign that model in '08 and again I think in '09. I was told that my vehicle was one of the batches that was bad and the computer need to be flashed, but unfortunately they have not did any recalls on it so I will have to pay out of pocket whatever that might be. So it turns out my original Throttle body wasn't bad but the computer that sends a reading to it was. Check with GM about that bulletin and I hope this info. was helpful!
