The other day while driving to work my check engine light turned on, then the stabilitrak light followed by reduce engine power. I was only able to go 15 mph. I had it scanned and the app sensor needed to be changed so i had it fixed. Had no problems for 4 or 5 days. Then it all turned on again. Any ideas or suggestions as to what else to do? The Chevy dealership where I purchased the equinox from has idea what to do to fix it.

Not sure what you mean by the "app" sensor, but the Dealer should have the resources to address this. Push on them to check all technical service bulletins, recall info and other technical info from Chevrolet. If you post the codes here we may be able to give further assistance.

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ls (90,000miles) and am having the same problem with the check engine light and reduced engine power light since June '10. After $1100. dollars in the hole and replacing the throttle body sensor twice, I found out that there was a bulletin put out in '07 about the computer that reads to the throttle position sensor starting with a certain number (check # on the sticker on the computer) is bad. GM redesign that model in '08 and again I think in '09. I was told that my vehicle was one of the batches that was bad and the computer need to be flashed, but unfortunately they have not did any recalls on it so I will have to pay out of pocket whatever that might be. So it turns out my original Throttle body wasn't bad but the computer that sends a reading to it was. Check with GM about that bulletin and I hope this info. was helpful!

APP= Applied Pedal Pressure for the drive-by-wire throttle body, may be time to complain to your repair shop, sound like they just put parts on and didn't fix anything. Could be the throttle body.
