Question: check engine light and all dash lights are on and stay light continiouly

 Rookie

I have a 2001 330ci manual transmission.
the check engine light and all dash lights are on and stay light continiouly. It also stalls in first and sometimes going into second once on the highway its fine. can you give me an idea what's going on? Thank you

    Electrical problems like this can be caused by several things, like an ignition switch, ,broken alternator belt, blown fuse or an electrical component failure. It's really hard to know unless you inspect the vehicle and perform a proper diagnosis of the electrical system.
