    I've had this problem (and 2 Gas Caps) for about 20,000-25,000 miles, and two BMW Service Reps while the car was under Warranty said to me, "Oh, that's just the Gas Cap". Then I went in last month, and the new Service Rep was all upset, "Egad, you're SVC ENG SOON LIGHT IS ON, we better do something NOW!!!"

    So I told her what her 2 or 3 predecessors had told me while the car was still under Warranty. Anyone know the true answer?
