check engine light stays on,back rear light i always have to replaceand sometimes the front light

    If you constantly have to replace the same rear light bulb I suspect perhaps water is leaking into the lamp causing the bulb to blow prematurely. Unfortunately the Check Engine Light will not be related to the bulb failure. Check Engine light illumination is caused by the computer in your car seeing a fault which is causing an increase in pollution being emitted from your car. The Check Engine Light may or may not cause a related noticeable drivability problem. Best to get the problem checked out. A scan tool is needed to diagnose the problem.
