Question: check engine light

 Rookie

check engine light, code 3040 camshaft sensor. It came on Friday on way home.

   Master

  The camshaft position sensor is on top of the engine on the transmission side of the engine. The connector is black and has three wires in the connector.

  whats the next step after you replace the sensor and the car still wont start? ive checked all my fluids, fuel line, battery, spark plugs and wires. Just won't turn over. please email me at sunburst1884@yahoo.com
