I was told a O2 sensor was the cause for the check engine and cruise light being on, I live abroad and the sensor is not available. Could a failed sensor cause engine damage and how do I turn the warning lights off?

yes an o2 sensor will cause fuel issues and runability problems but not the criuze prob. you need a tool to reset light. if o2 is not replaced the like will come back on.you can order the 02 on line its very easy to replace then clear the light.make sure you know which o2 is the problem 1st
