Charlies Service and Muffler Shop opened it's doors in the Sunset community in 1984. It is a true family business with two of Charlie DuBose kids currently running the shop. Amanda is a service writer and Justin holds the roll of Manager and Technician. Justin has been working here for over 20 years, has 10 years of experience as a technician and is ASE Master Certified. Working together with Justin is a group of talented technicians who have over 68 years of combined experience. We were happy to see that this Top Shop also does state emissions testing and vehicle inspections. For your convenience their A+ facility offers early bird/after hours drop off, shuttle service and free WiFi.

I had an air dog 200 that i bought from them and had it installed it looks way clean had it done with they said had a some problems (from air dog the pump its self) they helped me get it straight out they were very helpful had a stack put in and it looks really clean no problems very affordable really was happy with them will never take ir any were elsa thanks guys

This place is a scam!!!! I have taken two vehicles there on 2 different occasions and each time I was told the vehicle would be done within hours... More like days!! My first vehicle I took in was a jeep with a license plate light problem... Easy fix you would think well 4 days and about 8 phone calls later I told them I was coming for my jeep regardless.. They then told me to give them one more day and they would get me a good deal on the price.. For the inconvenience I was reluctant at this point 5 days for a tag light even with a discount was absurd But I gave in.. They did have it finished the next day with a meer discout.. And billed for 3 hours of electrical labor at 75$ an hour... 3 hours of work preformed takes these folks 5 days and to pay 225$ on a tag light that took 5 days to fix is just plain silly.. Now a year later I had my chevy suburban break down and had it towed to their shop with intension that mabey my prior experience was just a mishap... Wow was I wrong! When I arrived they then told me the problem was the distributor that they had ordered one and it would be in around noon.. I then asked for an estimated time for completion (skeptical of my prior visit) the lady behid the desk said a few hours.. I then said in a shocked voice really so before the end of the day she said yes, that's when the guy that was going to be preforming the work spun around to add in yeah it will be done shortly even if I have to stay late to work on it. I was then relived that this experience was going alot smother. As the day grew longer and the time crept to 4:30pm with only 30 minutes to spare till they were closed and I still haven't heard from them I decided to call she then told me they brought the wrong part to the shop (not her fault but she still could have called and informed me as to the situation) She said they are still working on it I'll call you at 5. Well as you can guess with their non awesome respect to their customers I never heard back from her and with it already being closed and no way of contacting them I called first thing in the morning and asked the progress of my truck she said there still working on it I'll go see how much longer and call you right back.. Well as you can guess hours went by with still no word. So I then called back and asked again what's the status on my truck just to get a snappy reply of it's still going to be a few hours with no estimated time of completion.. I then again asked so I will be do by today right? She said yes today.. Well I still haven't got my truck and it's been over two day with an original estimated time of a few hours... Theses guys work at their own pace with no respect in mind for their customers the ones the keep their family ran and owned business afloat poor poor service I highley discourage anyone from doing business with charlies service in sunset Utah
