The work done is good quality. It is done in a timely manner. They alert me when something out of the ordinary needs to be done. Since I am a female senior citizen, I worry about being taken advantage of, this has never been the case at Chapel Hill Tire. They are tolerant of my puppy who usually accompanies me.
I would recommend a friend if money/cost was not an issue. CHT's work is of good quality but over the years I find that CHT's charges for labor and parts to be about one-third to one-half higher than other mechanics. This most recent estimate by CHT was around $2,400 and I got the exact -- the exact! -- same work done for $1,600 elsewhere. I have your estimate and the other mechanics invoice as proof. Also, I will never forget sitting in Tararos (sp?) Mexican restaurant next to the Cole Park store and listening to two of your men sitting in the booth behind me talking about the importance of "upselling" -- making an effort to sell customers as many services and parts as possible whether they were needed or not. I swear on my Mother's grave that this is absolutely true.
