How do I removed the old oil pan to get to the gasket?

    The oil pan is located on the bottom of the engine. It is the component that the oil drain plug is in. To remove, remove all the screws holding the oil pan in place. Look for dents along the rim of the pan when it is removed as they can cause a leak as well. When putting the new seal on the oil pan, lubricate it with some oil before you replace it.
