what exact tools are needed to change oil and filter?

    Pan to collect the used oil, wrench that fits the drain plug and oil filter wrench

    This is a very easy vehicle to change the oil on. Everything is easily to get to.
    For anyone reading this who wants to start changing their own oil, buy a good oil filter pliers- don't buy the cheap ones buy the real thing. They cost more but are well worth it.
    Also buy a good oil collection pan, and funnel. You will be using these items again and again.
    In my truck I use Castrol and Motorcraft filter.
