Question: changing flywheel

the weight on the flywheel broke off at the weld, which caused alot of damage to the bolts securing the flywheel, any suggestions on how to remove the bolts omce the head of bolt is damaged?

    Only thing I can think of is vise grip brand lever wrench or a small pipe wrench but make sure you buy the vise grip brand as there are many imitations out there, You are going to have to change that flywheel because it will be out of balance now that the weight is gone

    chraftman tools sell a set(set of 4 different sizes) of easy outs for just that purpose. use on a heavy drill with at least 18 or more volts. each one of the easy outs have a drill bit side, and the other that is made to grab just such a bolt. like you have. I've used it on alot of other peoples vehicles after they wore the heads off there bolts . they are only $19.95 plus tax. at any sears tools department store. well worth it to .
