Question: changed front breaks now problems with speedo

 Rookie

I changed front break pads now abs light is on and speedomoter is eratic causing trans to shift up and down unexpectedly

    The ABS light could have been triggered by accidentally bumping or damaging, or disconnecting a front wheel ABS sensor. I don't see how this would effect the transmission or the speedometer. The speedometer and transmission could be a defective vehicle speed sensor or VSS, which is located on the tail shaft of the transmission. If the VSS is defective it will also trigger an ABS light.
