Question: change oil indicator

I had my oil changed about two weeks ago. My change oil indicator came on a few days later n is still on. Today i went to ger lunch n then walmart. When leaving walmart my check engine light came on. Will the change oil light being on so long make the check engine lighy come on?

    It should not make the check engine light illuminate. Why not go back to the folks who did your oil change and see if they will re-set the light and pull the code as well for the check engine light as a courtesy, since they did not do the oil change correctly in the first place?
