If is a simple spin on filter then unscrew it, make sure old rubber seal comes off with it, lube new filter rubber seal with a dab of oil and spin back on, tighten approx one full turn after contact. If is cannister then will need to locate housing and rmove cover and remove old filter and reverse to reinstall. Locate oil pan, unscrew drain plug, drain till just a slow drip, reinstall and tighten snug but not too tight, requires a feel for correct tightness and then refill system with correct oil to proper level, start and verify that oil pressure gauge comes up or oil light goes out, recheck level and add as needed.
