2004 Buick Rendezvous

Question: Change brakes and rotors.

It seems everytime I have my brakes changed on my Rendezvous I am told that the rotors need to be replaced. Is this normal. I thought they could turn the rotors instead of replacing them. The service adds another $200 to $300 for the work.

  it is normal. the pads wear out the rotors. even new rotors dont have much material on them before they need to be replaced.

  Hello
  How may miles has it been since the rotors were changed. Driving habits can cause this to. Cost wise should be $247.00 parts and labor installed for the front including pads.
