Service reps may be great, but you never get to communicate directly with the person actually doing the work on your car; it's all pass-through information, not good. Almost every time I've taken my car there (early on for oil changes and recently for what my mechanic said needed to be a dealer job, bummer) I've had to take it back and have them fix what was not completed or was not done or was broken by them while they had it. When was still new enough to get them to do the free oil changes, when picking up I'd pull over to the side and check fluid levels and tire pressure right in front of them, and guess what, NONE had been checked, topped off, pressure checked, nothing. I had them come do it right there in the lot in front of others waiting to have their cars worked on. I made a point of showing the rep and the guy (not one who worked on the car, but who appeared truly concerned and honest, rare it appears for there) that the paperwork showed all those things checked off as done and fixed and demonstrating they were not.

Even though Champion is a sponsored advertiser on this site, they failed to check results of this site, The replacement of a starter should have been a maximum of $647.00 instead of the awful price of $980.00. Since they replaced the starter on the same vehicle 2 1/2 years ago for $ 403.00, I feel I am being taken to the cleaners. Do they actually believe themselves? I don't. I plan to inform all that care to listen.
