Question: Center Console Extreme Heat

I have noticed that my 06 TL center console gets extemely HOT. This would be on either side of the console right next to the seat belt buckles from the back of the cupholders to the storage box. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows what may be causing this heat?? Is there a computer there or does the exhaust flow go by there?? Is there a manual that would show me what is located in that area?? Please help...concerned owner. I love my TL and want to make sure she is 100% always...lol

Visitor, March 20, 2010, 18:04ReplyI have an 06 TL and I've noticed the same thing. I assume its just the ducts to the rear passenger heating/AC. My center console gets very hot with the heat on and cold with the AC on.

RookieI have a 2009 Toyota Camry and I have just developed the same problem on the bottom left of the gear console. Haven't taken it in yet for checking. Any notices on this problem? Raena Clara Thunder Bay Canada
