Question: CEL comes on after gassing up...only.

the CEL comes on only after I gas up. I installed a new Toyota gas cap. Still happens. Getting tired of resetting the computer. Ed

    You will need to have testing done to determine the code you are getting. If it is an evaporative emission code, as you are alluding to, it could be something other than that gas cap. It could be a filler neck issue, a seal, a cannister issue, etc...
