Question: .CEL Code P0496. Where is purge valve located

2005 Yukon Denali 6.0. Check Engine Light comes on. "OBD code P0496. Evaporative Emission System High Purge Flow" . I have replaced Gas Cap. Can clear error but eventually comes back on. Notice vehicle stutters to restart after shutting off to refuel. Where is purge valve located and any other thoughts?

    the same thing happened to me on my 05 escalade......remove the plastic engine cover from top of intake, locate purge valve which is on passenger side rear of engine. Disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel tank side vapor pipe from valve(not intake side). Then start engine and ck for vacuum at nipple where you just removed hose-should not have any, if it does replace valve and clear codes.

    my 04 denali and many other model years and motors had the same and diff po446 evap code problems . The intake purge valve on the intake manifold did not clear the code for me and others but the evap canister vent solenoid/vent valve did fix the problem still 3k later.I bought this part for 21dollars shipped and installed it in 20 minutes. Part number10382105 it is located just above the rear axle

    my 07 suzuki xl7 (GM) is reading the same code. and it only stutters when starting everytime I refuel!
