Question: CD Player Error

 Rookie

My CD keeps freezing and saying ERROR 4 what does this mean? I have used a CD Cleaning Disc and I am playing the proper CD's it happens even with brand new CD's and when the ERROR 4 comes across the screen I can't get my CD's out of the player. Sometimes after not using te player it will work again just fine. I don't want to lose my CD's by having them stuck in the playerI know I can take it out and bring it to a dealer. I want to know what's wrong and how I can fix it.

    Error messages on the display screen means the CD player sees an error, try playing another CD does it work? Try cleaning the laser with a cleaning disc available at any electronics or music store. Does the CD you are playing have a label on it or a homemade CD.
    If all else fails the stereo will have to be removed and sent out to be repaired. There are several companies that specialize in the repair of Toyota/Scion factory stereos.
