1993 Volvo 960 Problems

"No start" and Check Engine Light Due to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Failure

The engine will crank over but will not start. The Check Engine Light is on and/or there is a diagnostic code for the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT). This may be caused by a faulty sensor (located at the back of the cylinder head).

Abnormal Noise From Front Suspension Due to Worn Control Arm Bushings

The front control arm bushings wear out, resulting in alignment issues and squeaking and/or knocking noises from the front end. Worn bushings will require replacement.

"No Start" and Check Engine Light Due to Gear Position Sensor Failure

The gear position sensor on the transmission may fail, resulting in illumination of the Check Engine Light and/or a no start condition.
