1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet Problems

windshield seal leak

during heavy rain storms the passenger side floor gets soaked with water. I have removed the interior carpeting and the insulation behind it is wet also, so I suspect the windshield seals. Can you direct me as to how to replace them?

Coolant and Oil Leaks

The water pump and/or other cooling system may develop a coolant leak. Oil leaking from the  valve cover gasket is also common.

Transmission damage due to faild transmission oil cooler
Extensive transmission damage can occur in some of the automatic transmission models when the transmission oil cooler fails and allows coolant to mix with the automatic transmission fluid.
