Check Engine Light Due to Gas Cap Issue

A Loose or worn gas cap may cause Check Engine Light to illuminate. At this time, RepairPal cannot confirm a recall for this gas cap issue.

Transmission Fault and/or Check Engine Light With Code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723

Vehicles with a 6speed automatic transmission may develop one or more of the following faults related to a broken 35R clutch wave plate inside the transmission: Illumination of the Check Engine Light with code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723, loss of reverse gear, slipping or harsh 3rd or 5th gear shift. Removal and dis-assembly of the transmission will be required to replace the broken 35R wave plate. It is also extremely important that all debris from the failed part be cleaned from the transmission while it is disassembled in order to try and prevent future problems.

Burning Smell From Engine Due to Valve Cover Gasket Leak

The engine valve cover gaskets may develop and engine oil leak. A burning smell may be noted from the engine area if the type of leak were to occur.

my heater/ac fan not coming on. (1 answer)

I checked all fuses, swapped the relays, the fan motor itself works tested on bench. Not sure where to look next except for the switch or the fan motor resistor??

We changed the battery and now the engine will not stay on have to ride gas /brk (1 answer)

We have two 2006s, one gray with the chrome, and the other bright red with the blackout. They are both the Honda 3.5, and both FWD, not AWD, which is the is the only ones we would buy. I did not want the AWD because it costs 2 mpg, the rear units have problems, and the technology used has proven to be not ver effective. This is my 2nd Saturn Vue. First one was 2003 model and now have the 2006 model. I have owned 16 cars in my lifetime and the Saturn Vue is one of the best, second only to my 94 Toyota Camry. A previous writer was going off about the timing belt. This is part of your normal 80,000 mile maintenance! My mechanic told me about mine when I was close to it. This has been a great car, But I have 55,000 miles on it and at an idle it has a miss where the motor shakes. I took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong. Because there are no error codes they could not do anything. Does anybody have any ideas.
