The brake pedal pivot pin may become dislodged, resulting in the brake pedal separating from the pedal arm. Dealers will inspect the brake pedal assembly clip and install a replacement clip if one is missing free of charge to resolve the concern.
The turbocharger turbine wheel may fracture due to a casting defect. If a fracture occurs, vehicle performance will be decreased and the turbine shaft may also fracture. If the shaft fractures, oil can be drawn into the exhaust system, resulting in excessive smoke and the risk of a fire. Dealers will replace the turbine wheels to correct this concern. A headlamp assembly may become loose and/or detach from the fender. This could result in reduced visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the headlamp locking assemblies to correct this concern. The Porsche recall number is AC01.
