2006 Nissan Armada Problems

Power Liftgate

Liftgate would not operate with FOB or manually lifting the rear door handle. I could tell it wasn't electrical because I could hear the motor turning. I noticed that the lift arm was loose, and assumed it became disconnected from the motor actuator. When I removed the jack, I felt around in the bottom of the cavity and found the small bolt that came loose...lucky. Getting access to it where the 2 pieces connect was a little tricky, I didn'...

Catalytic Converter Damage Due to Weak or Failing Fuel Pump

A weak or failing fuel pump can cause power loss due to lower fuel pressure and lean mixture conditions. This rarely causes a Check Engine Light to illuminate and should be repaired to avoid catalytic converter damage.

On-car rotor resurfacing and updated brake pads for pulsation issue
The brakes may develop a pulsation or judder felt during light and moderate braking. This may be felt as a pedal pulsation, steering wheel shake, and/or a body vibration. The repair involves resurfacing all four brake rotors using an "On-car" brake lathe (replacing if necessary) and using updated brake pads and components.

2006 Nissan Armada Recalls

Engine Stalls Without Warning

A relay in the engine control power distribution module may arc and cause a failure which can result in engine stalling. Dealers will replace the relay inside the module free of charge to resolve the problem.

Nissan-Infiniti Recall for Faulty Front and/or Rear Control Arms

Nissan is recalling certain 2004 - 2010 Titan, Armada, & QX56 vehicles. Also included are 2005 - 2010 Frontier, Xterra, and Pathfinder vehicles for faulty front and/or rear suspension lower control arms. The problem is the control arm's attaching point to the vehicle's chassis. During the manufacturing process, some control arms may contain welds that do not meet Nissan's strength specs, and if they break, it may result in loss of vehicle control, and a possible crash.

Fuel Gauge Reading May Be Incorrect

The instrument panel fuel gauge may show fuel in the fuel tank when there is none, typically about 1/4 when the tank is empty. This could cause the vehicle to run out of gas and stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the fuel sender unit inside the fuel tank to correct this concern. This recall is expected to begin on March 22, 2010.

2006 Nissan Armada Reviews

my 2006 nissan armada stops running while i'm using it without no warning
