A guide to problems, costs, maintenance and repair for your 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The front passenger lap belt may not have been properly secured during vehicle assembly. The retaining bolt could be loose and the seatbelt may not be capable of properly securing the seat occupant in the event of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt lap end attachment fastener to address this concern.

The drivers side seat mounted air bag wiring harness may be improperly routed, and as a result may cause the air bag warning light to illuminate. Additionally it may not deploy properly in an accident. Dealers will inspect the wiring and re-route it free of charge as necessary to resolve the concern.

The left front strut may have a stabilizer link bracket that was not properly welded in place. As a result the link may detach and cause damage to the tire and/or brake hose. A damaged tire could result in reduced steering ability. A damaged brake hose could result in increased stopping distance. Dealers will inspect and replace the left front strut if necessary to correct this concern.
