The automatic transmission may develop a 2-3 shift flair. This is commonly caused by an internal fault related to the reverse clutch assembly. Replacement of the rear housing and reverse clutch assembly may be required to correct this concern.

The crankshaft position sensor may fail causing a no start and/or stalling condition. Replacement of the failed sensor will generally corrects this concern.

The power windows may fail, often related to moisture inside the door. Affected components will need to be replaced. If possible some type of moisture protection could be added to try and prevent repeat failures.

The fuel return line fitting at the fuel pump may be restricted, causing excessive fuel pressure in the fuel injection system. This may result in a fuel leak from the return hose. A fuel leak always increases the risk of a fire. Dealers will inspect the fuel pump pressure. I had my 2003 model since new, the only parts I have replaced is the oxygen sensor, front disk and brakes and timing belt. The cars has 230,000 miles and still going.

There is rust in the rear door well. A/C keeps shutting off when it gets hot. Mits dealership ran it for two hours, added dye and new refrigerant. Said to bring it back if problem reoccurs. It is over 90 degrees here today and the A/C stopped again.
