The hose may corrode due to extensive exposure to humidity. This may cause fluid leakage onto the catalytic converter. This would present a fire hazard. Dealers will a new high pressure distrution hose.

The trunk lid springs could fail in the closed position. If the trunk lid is manually lifted, it may not remain in the open position and could cause injury if it comes down unexpectedly. Dealers will replace both trunk lid springs to correct this concern. The Mercedes-Benz recall number is 2004 050015.

I have major suspension problems and the trunk looks open all the time.I have had to repair the suspention/ air shocks 3 times at $4,500 a whoop! This is the first MB I've ever owned and its the best car I've owned. I have had several luxury vehicles and am a chauffeur by trade. I have over 250000 miles on it and you would never be able to tell it. Im going to try to get at least 400000 miles same engine/trans.
